The B1 and A2 classes of Fireproof Aluminum Composite Panels
Aluminum composite panels in the B1 class contains 55% of the flame retardant coating with Aluminum Oxide (Al2O3) and Magnesium Oxide (MgO) as it’s main ingredients. It takes up-to 5 minutes for it to catch on fire while under direct contact with a flame source and fire extinguishes itself in 10 seconds once it’s removed from a flame source.
Aluminum composite panels in the A2 class contains 88%-90% of the flame retardant coating with Aluminum Oxide (Al2O3) and Magnesium Oxide (MgO) as it’s main ingredients. It takes up-to 20 minutes for it to catch on fire and fire is extinguished instantly once the flame source is removed.
